When not working as a costumer within the theatre world, Katelyn enjoys further exploring her creativity and developing her skills through a variety of personal sewing and design projects. Many of these projects are drawn from the stories and movies that sparked her love of costuming.

Jedi Tunic
Tunic inspired by the characters within the Star Wars franchise. It features a base layer, as well as a belt with two attached tabards.

Jedi Robe
Robe created to be worn with the above tunic. Features a large hood and wide sleeves.

Anastasia Inspired Gown
Satin evening gown based on the iconic blue ballet gown from the animated Anastasia film, with colors modified to be reminiscent of the dress from the Broadway production. It features boning in the top and a removable crystal organza cape.

Padme Picnic Dress
Inspired by Padme's Picnic Gown in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, this dress features a full circle skirt with three layers (one hand-dyed) and a hand embroidered corset with hook and eye closures.

Belle Runway Design Rendering
A design inspired by the classic costumes from Beauty and the Beast that imagines them on a modern runway. It is designed to be a reveal look, with the coat worn over the jumpsuit and detachable cape.

Lace up corset complete with 3 layers (fashion fabric, duck canvas, and lining), steel braided boning, front busk closure, and a delicate lace trim.
